The Ahmanson had a big year for 2018-19, bringing in several productions that sold really well. One really needed a subscription to guarantee that they’d see the shows. I imagine that some (or a lot) of the season subscribers will hold on through 2019-20 and then reconsider after a season where the choices weren’t so wonderful.
