| Saw it Sat nite. It is wacky but I enjoy that sort of thing and not sorry I saw it. Good cast. I probably wouldn't be recommending it at non-LCT member prices but if you are a member I would give it a shot. Won't be the worst thing you've seen and there are some fun moments. | |

| I actually did enjoy it...sort of. It's a very strange little play. I enjoyed the quirky stylization of it, and its willingness to present us with a complex, multi-layered, plot-driven structure. It did go off the rails somewhat, and the ending left me not totally satisfied. But I found it to be an intriguing piece, and I'm glad I saw it. | |

| I saw it last night. Not sure what to say except that it's all over the place. The usual Guare style is there, but with a lack of much human emotion it seems like people mostly running around on stage. I ended up focusing on the lines, some of which are funny and clever. The only real character is John Larroquette's, but since he mainly watches other people, he's a passive protagonist, and that doesn't work so well with a lack of cohesiveness. Will Swenson's character is a waste. Probably only Douglas Sills has much else to do, but I didn't mind watching such good actors up close for two hours (it was two hours with an intermission). I'm also not sure how jokes about Roman Polanski and pedophilia are going to land in this environment. The theater was about one-third empty - probably word of mouth spreading through the members. |

| The theater was about one-third empty - probably word of mouth spreading through the members. Troubling news indeed! I'm going next week. But if it's not on the page, it won't be on the stage regardless. Love JL, so I am resigned to grin and bear the rest. |

| I know a few people that saw it already and they were all underwhelmed. One said if you miss it; no loss. | |

| Sheepish about my opening day ticket frenzy with buyer's remorse. Ah, LCT. I will try to read Guare's Atlantic City screenplay! |
