| Since actors usually film by lip-synching to pre-recorded tracks of themselves (unless you've got a Marni Nixon type situation), they can always use audios of Close where her singing would be considered a good take. When I saw her in the original production, she did "As If We Never Said Goodbye" beautifully, some of the other numbers didn't land as well on the ear, though her acting performance was brilliant. I'm not a huge fan of the show, so I don't know what vocals of her exist on that or if other takes are available from the recent revival, where some people said she sounded in better voice. |
