And, if it’s all Michael Jackson-style soundalikes (like the Supremes pastiches in Dreamgirls), then after Nottage’s long-gestating involvement in the Jackson show, once again I don’t think there’s any doubt that the Jackson estate would (at least try to) sue, whether they have a case or not.
I see what you’re saying, and in a vacuum it’s an excellent idea - frankly I’d love to see that show - but given all the givens, I think my point stands that in almost any incarnation this show is doomed. |
