Camelot was wonderful. Simple blocking, very understated costuming (jeans, suits no ties, t-shirts) though Solea Pfeiffer wore a white gown. Lin was terrific. Solea is phenomenal. The control she has over her voice is something else. Jordan Domica as Lancelot was excellent, much better than his Freddy. Solea and Jordan had incredible chemistry. Burstein, Slater, Collela turned in strong supporting performances.
Lance's miracle was breathtaking. The timing and acting of the scene was transcendent.
Hillary Clinton attended and walked out at the end of the show right in front of me. Oscar Eustis also there, in addition to Lin's wife and parents. |
