Not only Toronto...Louise Pitre originated the role of Donna on Broadway and got a Tony nod for it. She was terrific, but has not, to my knowledge, been back to New York since.

About 10 years ago, Louise Pitre was in the Carnegie Hall concert version of the musical KRISTINA (aka Kristina Fran Duvemala), which came from the same ABBA songwriters as CHESS... and oh yes, MAMMA MIA.

She was quite good in the second female lead, and the show was recorded live. Unfortunately, the English lyrics are absolutely abysmal, so I much prefer the Swedish recording.
