On my second trip to Hollywood in 1976, I ventured over to Century City hoping to catch a glimpse of the Twentieth Century Fox Studio lot
I remember walking by the Shubert Theatre with posters up for the upcoming first national tour of A CHORUS LINE.
Much to my delight the Old New York Street set from "Hello,Dolly" was still in tact and in plain view from the street.
I snapped one pic using Kodachrome film (this of course was pre-digital when you had to shoot sparingly)
Your rave for the movie has made me want to go out and purchase the blu-ray to revist.
Steven, how would you feel if it was remade, and who would you cast and pick as a director ?
How about Barbra Streisand behind the camera with Lady Gaga as Dolly Gallagher Levi ?
