| Charisse played the love interest in the '52 non-musical "western" The Wild North". Her character performs the song "Northern Lights" in a saloon sequence. MGM recorded Charisse's vocal, but then used Ruth Martin's rendition in the final print of the film. Charisse's vocal is included as a bonus track on the film's soundtrack recording. |
