| I don't see what's so baffling. Daddy vs Mommy for claim on Boy. Should he be with either, both, neither? That's it. That's all. The matter is that play only really gets going when Mommy and Daddy share the stage, or perhaps the entire drama could be folded into the third-act climactic scene. I enjoyed it, but think expectations were bent out of shape by the extreme response to author's previous work this season. Still very much want to see what he does next. |
