As I posted earlier this week, I loved this Kate as much as this reviewer did. And he is right that the Brush Up Your Shakespeare is the one number that is done the way it has always been done.

One other thing: Though Will Chase does a fine job with Where Is the Life That Late I Led?, this number needed a little more inventiveness. In a production done a few years ago at Hartford Stage, various women opened their windows to Petruchio as he sang the song and that added texture to the number.

But I highly recommend this production.
