It would certainly make sense for Thomas to replace Daniels on Broadway, even if it's just for a short run. Thomas would get a head start on playing the role and would hit the ground running when his tour opens. And the tour gets to advertise that Thomas is coming to town "directly from Broadway." If they can get Thomas reviewed, that would be even better. Assuming his reviews would be good, the tour would have all kinds of pull quotes with which to advertise Thomas in each city.
It's really win-win. |
