I see a lot but I cannot spend money on King Kong. Ironically I finally went to see Pretty Woman last week to catch Jason Danieley and he was out! I didn’t find the show that bad and enjoyed the leads but it was so forgettable. My TDF seat was very far from the stage but I was able to move down to the orchestra for the second act.

Here is what I liked on Broadway this season. Bernhardt/Hamlet, The Prom, Head Over Heels, The Lifespan of a Fact, True West, Choir Boy, Ink, The Waverly Gallery, Tootsie, The Boys in the Band, Straight White Men, Torch Song, Tootsie, Hadestown, Beetlejuice, The Ferryman, King Lear (parts of the show), Kiss Me, Kate, What the Constitution Means to Me, Ain’t Too Proud, The Cher Show (parts), All My Sons, American Son, To Kill a Mockingbird.

I was disappointed by Pretty Woman, Network (despite Cranston being very good), Oklahoma!, Burn This, Be More Chill, Getting the Band Back Together.

Haven’t seen Gary, Hillary and Clinton, King Kong, Summer.

I was glad My Fair Lady stuck around because seeing the recent new cast members was a revelation.
