Well, I was replying to PlayWiz, who brought it up. He said that he didn't recall the Temptations "doing such frenetic choreography in their act." So I was really just confirming for him that they didn't (or at least they didn't in the clips I found). But, yes, I definitely missed Trujillo saying that. Was that in print or on television or perhaps on the Tonys? Not that it especially matters where he said it. I will say that it seems a bit odd to me that if you're doing a show about a group of singers, who were really first of all known as a singing group, you'd have them do choreography so flashy that it overshadows the singing, but that's just me. Obviously, it's what they wanted. I didn't enjoy what I saw last night — it probably wasn't helped by the camera work — and then I wondered why I remembered liking the Temptations so I went looking for video of them. And I saw why I liked them.
