Fred and Lilli duet "So in Love" with Cole Porter at the piano. Because they're recently divorced, their feelings for each other are bizarrely at odds with the intended emotion of the song. Lois then arrives with the band from her Copa nightclub act and they perform a very weird "Too Darn Hot" (although Porter has cut the number from the show). Porter had originally wanted the meeting to take place at his apartment, but Fred switched the location to his place so he could have an assignation with Lois, who shows up early.

Ron Randell portrays Porter as a kind of smarmy, little creep -- he's also completely mobile.
