| Two folks have posted Rex Harrison and Amy Irving in Heartbreak House. On longer lists I've posted in the past — greatest performances as opposed to ones that "seared into my soul" — I've included Harrison but not Irving. I'm so glad that I got to see him in that, and not just once but twice. And there is the good television version (although the entire male supporting cast is replaced). I had seen him in two earlier productions that perhaps did not show him at his best or at least did not make a huge impression one. But he was so wonderful in Heartbreak House. |
