Not that I know of, but I doubt it. If you do some research on teen suicide in the U.S., you will find any number of incidents very similar to what happens in both Dad and Hansen. There was a real life incident of a teen suicide in the Chicago area (back in '87 or '88) which drew heavy coverage in a Chicago newspaper and on local TV for about 2 weeks. Eventually a nationally recognized figure had to address the incident. The entire Chicago story is remarkably close to what is presented in Dad.
Have you ever seen Dad? The father and his relationships with a girlfriend, a neighbor, his son's friend, and the high school officials are the film's main focus. Andrew (who is somewhat similar to Evan) is a relatively minor character in the film. Despite some similarities, the story in Dad is quite different than the story in Hansen.
