I think it really does depend on the show and how mich that show specifically is implanted on people’s memories. I think of something like The Producers where there are many iconic dances and such that Stroman created that would be in any production...
I find Cabaret and Chicago intriguing because I think the revivals are now the “go to” stylistically for productions versus the originals (for better or worse).
