| "...and conductor David Newman (Anastasia) who will be arranging the score for the new adaptation..." Not that I'm surprised by this (this is what Hollywood always does lol), and certainly Newman has insanely huge talent that I would trust. But oh, how I wish they'd just let Bernstein's original and IMO timeless work (along with Kostal and Ramin of course) speak for itself. But, I get it... It is fun to see that Tesori is working on the music with the actors (whether as vocal coach or musical director, etc). That's cool. (Real cool, lol.) |
