I always get aisle seats and find they have many benefits, including a somewhat reduced chance of encountering bad theater etiquette. I attended eleven Broadway shows this past season and had zero issues with poor audience behavior. However, the last three movies I've gone to see were disrupted by people who thought it was acceptable to carry on whispered conversations with their friends and constantly check their phones while the film was playing.
