| "Even if the majority of the audience happened to be white, should we really care about the racial make-up of a paying audience when the money is going to a charity? " And also, what would the person who shouted that comment suggest as a remedy for the fact that the audience was "mostly white?" Is he suggesting special outreach to people of color for the audience of Broadway Bares? Does he advocate some kind of quota system and racial profiling when tickets are sold online? Maybe discounting tickets for people of color, but making white people pay full price? |
