I love this thread.
I live in a mid-western city where the artistic director of the local playhouse carbon copied almost every production he mounted, including sets, costumes, blocking and line readings, and passed it off as 'his' production. Most of he audience, of course, had no idea they were getting second hand artistry. A few years ago they did Music Man and used ALL of Onna White's film choreography, all credited to the production chorographer. It drives me nuts
