How do actors on this committee who are currently in a Broadway show see all of the other eligible shows?
For example, Celia Keenan-Bolger was on the committee last year. But she was also in To Kill A Mockingbird. I'm sure she's able to catch a show here and there on the days her show is dark, but I can't imagine she could catch all shows this way, especially since many shows open in the last few weeks of April, all at once (and presumably the Nominating Committee needs to attend press previews or post-opening performances).
This is by no means a slight against her specifically - just wondering how someone on this committee could do both things. |
