I am curious about one thing which might help me understand if the person had a deeper motivation in their call-out: what was the balance of white bodies compared to POC bodies in the show (and relative to the audience)? If the evening came off as a largely white audience hooting and hollering over POC bodies, I would have more sympathy to what might have triggered this individual.
I thought there was a lot of diversity up on stage. Perhaps more so than in the audience. And for what it's worth, the second highest individual Stripathon fundraiser was black-- L. Steven Taylor, who raised an impressive $43,529! |
