The Met production is the opera, not the Broadway chop shop version. However ... its by no means complete and uncut. The most complete version of this score is the Simon Rattle recording, and the video of this same production from Glyndebourne, directed by Trevor Nunn. It runs about 3 hours and 5 minutes, without intermission, meaning that the Met Production of an uncut PORGY AND BESS, with one intermission would last 3 hours and 35 minutes - with two intermissions it would run just over 4hours,

THE ENO production which is coming to the Met ran 3 hours and 10 minutes, with one 20 minute intermission. So they did 2 hours and 50 minutes of the score - only cutting 15 minutes. Not bad!
