Not sure how "family friendly" any of these are, but some other upcoming off-Broadway musicals:
Joe Iconis's next musical, Broadway Bounty Hunter, also opens off-Broadway this summer. (Previews start July 9.)
Encores! Off-Center will be doing Sondheim & Weidman's Road Show the last weekend of July.
Lizzie The Musical starts previews July 19.
There's also something called Dog Man: The Musical opening at the Lortel on July 15. That's produced by Theatreworks USA and is based on a middle grades book series, so that's a sure thing for family friendly. |
