| Yes, cast shame on others rather than putting more thought into your own words. I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't using the term with an awareness of the historical weight that it carries, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't reflect some more on what those words mean and how they have been used to other and oppress POC for centuries. Once again, it's easier to respond with aggressive deflection rather than consider the ways that the legacy of white supremacy still exists in our culture. |
