| To be honest, I don’t think the production is that coherent. It feels like an experimental take from a regional company that was fast tracked to Broadway without being adequately workshopped to work through all the kinks in the concept. It’s one thing to get something like this in a production at Bard, and quite another to get it in a major Broadway revival. But still, while it didn’t quite work, I appreciated the experiment. |
