Book? For why? Does anyone remember that there is a Kander. Ebb pastiche number in act 2 about 'all that zazz' - and after a lovely actress sings and dances this song with aplomb for the benefit for our heroine, because the authors suddenly realized they had a principal character with no song (they never got around to giving the press agent one - or did I miss it?), and then in the next book scene our heroine is a stumbling bumbling mess. No 'zazz' at all. So why is the song in the show. It would only make sense, if at all, after the scene where she has no 'zazz'.
