| Many of the places around the theatre are high energy and noisy (however another poster mentions the 8th floor of the hotel which in fact is much quieter and easy to get to -- there was a sushi place with decent food that I ate at once with hotel guests but can't remember the name). But since your relative has to get back to Grand Central eventually, why not eat on West 44th Street, east of Broadway where there are several very solid options for quiet quasi-special event dining: Saju Bistro (wonderful french bistro, one of my favorites in NY) Lamb's Club DB Bistro Moderne Kellari Taverna Strip House And if you want your relative to avoid some of the Times Square crowded sidewalks, after you leave the theatre, cross to west 45th and walk through the Millenium Hotel to get to west 44th, I do this all the time and it saves a lot of time and bumping. |

| 46 W. 46 Street The Spaghetti Bolognese or Carbonara are both outstanding and probably the best I’ve ever had. Just don’t tell my Nonna. |
