Osteria al Doge on 44th between 7th and 6th Avenue. Excellent. La Masseria (hard to get reservations) on 48th is superb. Between 7th and 8th. Amazon on 9th and around 48 is quite good. The Turkish Kitchen (think that is the name) on around 45th and 9th is also very good.
