| The idea of using more country instrumentation in the orchestrations is an obvious way to go with this material, so it is believable that two different companies could have the same idea independently. I can vouch for this - as a musical director, I have talked with directors (before the current production happened) who thought this might be an interesting idea. But, you indeed would want to seek permission from the R&H Organization in order to do it. |
