| I only saw Take Me Out in London at the Donmar but I was wondering when they presented it on Broadway as two acts instead of three was it edited down or just minus one interval? I have been googling this but no one makes it clear that I saw if it was just shorter because one interval was missing. If they edited it down how much was cut out and did it adversely affect the play? Just thinking about the version that is coming next year and whether it will be a shorter version that I originally saw. |

| I saw it both at the Public (in 3 acts) and on Broadway (in 2 acts). At the time, I didn't notice anything significant being cut, although there might have been little trims here and there, since perhaps it was still thought of as "in development" at the Public or something. I'm not 100% confident in this, but if there were any edits, I'm pretty sure they were slight. I think any difference in running time is more because of the lack of that second intermission. But if anyone knows differently, please correct me. This was many years ago! |
