| While I disagree with this writer's views overall, and especially his view on Verdon herself, I must admit that I also found Williams annoying, more and more so as the series progressed. By the last two episodes, I could barely listen to her speak, with---that---- really----- s l o w and emphatic delivery of almost every line. Actually both leads annoyed me. I never realized what a great performance Roy Scheider gave in All That Jazz until I had this to compare it to. |
