| Ah, I forgot that difference on the OLCR. My understanding, which I'm not positive is correct, is that the London recording uses the first national tour orchestrations, which are what was licensed. And if memory serves, this caused a bit of a problem when Encores! did the show, as they really wanted to use the true original Broadway orchestrations. I seem to think they found them. I probably should see if I can find any articles about this from the time, but I'm not feeling like doing that now. |
