For boxoffice. Even revival musical doesn’t seem to do much for last years once on this island and this years oklahoma, which actually dipped in gross by $23k. Not a lot, but the show isn’t at capacity in a very small house. Only ferryman has had a real increase (since hadestown was at capacity already). And best actor musical winner did nothing for the boxoffice for tootsie. The $55k increase after award show was probably just The number at the tony more than the acting win.

It's interesting that non-winners The Prom and Beetlejuice seem to be the only nominated musicals that are getting a consistent upward trend (besides Kiss Me, Kate, which is closing on Sunday, and Hadestown, which was sold out already). Beetlejuice has had its two highest-grossing weeks since the Tonys, and The Prom's past week is its second-best ever behind Christmas week. Ain't Too Proud, Oklahoma and The Cher Show have had a down week in the past two weeks. Tootsie has gone up both weeks, but is still lagging behind its May peak.
