| It's interesting that non-winners The Prom and Beetlejuice seem to be the only nominated musicals that are getting a consistent upward trend (besides Kiss Me, Kate, which is closing on Sunday, and Hadestown, which was sold out already). Beetlejuice has had its two highest-grossing weeks since the Tonys, and The Prom's past week is its second-best ever behind Christmas week. Ain't Too Proud, Oklahoma and The Cher Show have had a down week in the past two weeks. Tootsie has gone up both weeks, but is still lagging behind its May peak. |
