Of course. And a lot of those whom Stan Lee deemed "True Believers" don't care a fig about theatre. But there is some overlap. I can speak more authority about the related field of science fiction and fantasy publishing/writing/general fandom. Plenty of theatre buffs.
(Not enough, alas, to convince any of the sf publishers to buy my time-traveler-saves-Gershwin novel, though.)
I think Hiddles will draw them in. The screening of his CORIOLANUS that I attended some years back sold out--and on his name, because you can't say it was for the material.
