| I know that London success doesn't automatically translate into Broadway success - but this has just finished a sold out 13 week West End run - albeit in a theatre with about 250 fewer seats than the Jacobs. Apart from a limited number of cheap seats for the under 26s and those on job seekers allowance (an initiative Jamie Lloyd has done for many of his productions) there were hardly any discounts across the run. And we've not been short of production of Betrayal here either - there's one about every five or six years - the previous one (at the same theatre) starred Kristin Scott Thomas. |
