Jefferson Mays did an incredible one-man show of A Christmas Carol in Los Angeles last year. Its theatricality was breathtaking and it included a lot of Dickens' narrative text. I don't see it on deck for this year but I'm hoping for a return engagement at some point. I would rush to see it again.
