| I'm so glad I caught this goofy-fun Off-Broadway musical before it closes this Sunday. Annie Golden, playing a version of herself, is pure gold and in great voice. She and Alan H. Green, with whom I was previously unfamiliar, make an unlikely and hilarious pair as they search Ecuador for a mysterious drug lord. The plot is silly, so I didn't bother trying to make sense of it; I simply enjoyed the bouncy songs by Joe Iconis, the very talented ensemble and the campy atmosphere. |
