Goodspeed and papermill do winter shows.

It does seem like musicals—especially big ones- have dropped over the years. In San Fran, ACT and berk rep usually did a few bigger musicals. I can’t remember the last time ACT actually used the orchestra pit and the only musical is rocky horror show which is also done by ray of light this year. Berk rep has had small bands on stage like kiss my Aztec and paradise square last season. The two this season look small by culture class and Avett brothers. Theaterworks seemed to cut back also doing smaller musicals by Paul Gordon like Emma and daddy long legs. His newest one is pride and prejudice and I don’t know how big it will be. Theaterworks is also mounting ragtime, but I assume it will be a back of stage small orchestra than a pit (I think Mountain View performing arts has a pit.).
