I am glad to hear that Morse is still a charming figure. I was seated next to him at a performance a few years ago, and we were both alone. I’m not one to strike up conversation with strangers — famous or otherwise— but he started chatting with me at the intermission, and I was struck by how genuinely pleasant and warm he was.
