|I saw it. For all the interesting or good things about it there were SO many things that didn't work, it is really a half-baked take on a female Bobbi, and I would truly hate for this version to become the standard or the available female version. I'm for a female version existing, but this isn't the one it should be.
And I include a lot of the cast in this... even Rosalie, who is very talented but who so misinterpreted major moments and full songs ("Marry Me A Little" being the biggest offender) that I can't even give her an endorsement, even though I know it's probably Ms. Elliott's fault, as are all most all of the many things I didn't like and didn't think worked at all in this production, from the way the gender-switching was (poorly) conceived and thought out, to the staging and set, to just so much.
Let it be a London thing, but I would really prefer Broadway didn't get this production or this "take" on Company.
