Frankly, I don't think the show makes sense anymore with a male Bobby
That's your rightful opinion of course, but I'm wondering how it somehow does seem to make more sense with a female in the role?
I've always thought that the show generally suffers when updated - the specifics of the show are rooted in its era, and I have no problem accepting that. But the general idea - someone who has trouble making a commitment such as marriage - that's timeless, and can certainly still apply to a male. I'm not sure how it doesn't make sense that way. |
