| Yes, it's pretty loud and raucous, but that's to be expected of an explicitly marketed rock 'n' roll musical featuring Jim Steinman's admittedly catchy Meat Loaf hits. The ensemble members are vastly talented--especially Danielle Steers--but for me the highlight was the hilarious and energetic treatment of "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" as adroitly performed by Bradley Dean and Lena Hall. They alone were worth the price of admission. |
