| No. Even with Tonya's vocal fry, which I felt actually added to the depth of the experience of seeing this character and hearing her - her exhaustion, her grit and realness... Tonya brought levels to it, acting and singing wise, that were just not quite there in Sharon's performance when I saw it in the west end. She was also incredible, and she will get raves for her performance, but it is not, in my opinion, better than or even equal to Tonya's. |
