Delacorte theatre replacement?

I was recently told by someone working within the Central Park conservancy that there are plans afoot to replace the Delacorte with a new structure. The current structure was built in 1962 and seems to be showing its age. Anyone else hear anything about this? Have any such plans been discussed publicly?
