I agree and in the event of this type of mass emergency, it is likely that the 911 call would come from the theater staff anyway. Everyone else would be too busy running. And as far as taking video...really? Do we need another video of mass tragedy? Count me in on the vote for locking up cell phones during a performance. I have had it with rude audience members especially at the cost of theater tickets today. I don't need to spend all that money and then watch and listen to the nonsense going on in the seat next to me.
