I didn't find Spamilton as funny as an original recipe Forbidden Broadway, but I think it was more or less equally accessible to anyone who has listened to the Hamilton Cast Recording (which is a pretty large number of people) as it is to those who have seen the show.
Growing up in Boston, I was lucky to see several editions of Forbidden Broadway at the Terrace Room of the Park Plaza hotel. I imagine there are a handful of other cities that could support a full version of the show rather than the greatest hits, like Philadelphia or Chicago. |
