Oh yes I am glad he feels passionately about it, even if it is a wash for many. I have plenty of shows like that.
And also, how do I get a job at your office?!
PS to answer the questions I posed, I do not think there's any way that Memphis would have won those awards had it opened in any of the seasons around it that it might conceivably had been ready for. I don't think there's a Best Musical category it could have won in in the last 19 years besides the one it was in. The only winners in that time frame I think it might have had a chance at beating are Gentlemen's Guide and Once. |
